As per the Wright Awards’ tradition, we have asked a talented Canadian cartoonist to draw an official portrait of our celebrity host for our annual awards ceremony.
This year Kids in the Hall, Hannibal actor Scott Thompson steps back into the hosting role, which will hopefully involve less jousting with awards recipients than last year.
Scott will kick off the FREE TO THE PUBLIC Wright Awards ceremony Saturday May 10th, at the Marriott Bloor Yorkville Hotel starting at 7:00 p.m. Be prepared for fireworks!
And Ethan Rilly, the much-talented Montreal cartoonist behind the DWA-winning comic Pope Hats, was gracious enough to draw Mr. Thompson for us.
